More Than One Minus Sign in Simple Fractions: Problem 4

Rule 4:

If there is an even number of minus signs in a fraction, the value of the fraction is positive.

If there is an odd number of minus signs in a simple fraction, the value of the fraction is negative.

Problem 4:

Find the value of the fraction .

Answer:

Since the numerator of the fraction is zero, the value of this fraction is 0. Therefore, the value of the fraction is -0=0.
