Course Objectives (Learning Outcomes): |
The
goal of Math 3341 is to obtain a solid understanding of the concepts of
proofs related to Calculus materials and to be able to express this understanding
in written or spoken form, using correct language and grammar. By
the end of the semester you will have acquired enough knowledge to be able to
read a mathematical proof which will help to set up and solve problems which
require understanding and use of basic theorems of Analysis. The textbook is
intended to be read in full. |

There will be projects, grades from midterms and the final will be helpful in determining the final grade. |

Grading Policy: |
The in class exams count 40%. The projects count for 10% and the final exam will count 50% towards your overall class average. If the average is bigger than 90, then this |

Make-up Policy: |
Make-up tests will only be given under extraordinary circumstances and only if you notify the instructor prior to the exam date. |

Attendance Policy: |
It is a must you attend all lectures. Unjustified absences will result in points taken from the Part average. |

Course Schedule: |
The final exam is comprehensive and will be held Tuesday May 11 from 4PM to 6:45. The class schedule lists Friday, April 2 as the last day to drop with an automatic "W". The instructor will NOT assign a "W" for students dropping the course after the deadline. |
